Hi class! How are you?
Brunyols are a tipical food of empordà that they make normally during "Setmana Santa". For most people is a party or a celebration like Christmas. For example you can see in the picure a lot of "Brunyols" These "brunols" were doing at home and it is a delicious food (xD). The work of "brunyols" consist in to past very good the ingredients like butter, eggs, sugar an more. Then you divided the mixture of ingredients and covered it with a pice of clothes. When the mixture dobbling his volum you can finalize "brunyols" that you cook with olive oil.

Today I will talk to you about Sarah who is a language assistant. Now she is teaching at the university in Murcia. She is from Glasgow (Scotland) and she was stay here for four years ago. Now, she came to talk about her country and her experience here in Spain. You mind?
her hobbies are visitting different places, sky, travell, and the football, for example Celtic and Barcelona.
She talked about UK, all of countries and the capitals. In Scotland lives five millions of persones and there are some famous persons for exampel Sean Connory, Alex Ferguson, Andy Murray. The language in Scotland is Gaelic. The typical food of are Haggis.
She comes of a little family, she worked in private school called Shamrock to teach english to students.

Hi class! Today I will talk to you about Selectivitat. That all of you will go. XD . It is an exam, but not a normal exam. It is a big that it is divided into more exams depending on the subjects. I think that this exam serves to equaling the marks of Second Batxillerat in the public school and in private school. And the mark of Selectivitat is the mark that you use to enter at University.
This year Selectivitat Exams are 9,10,11, of June, and if I pass Batxillerat it will be examined. The subjects that I would be examined are: Catalan, Spanish, English, Philosophy, Maths, Drawing and Physics.

This year the shacks of Figueres aren’t so much long as other years because the town councilor has shortened the days, because many under age finished with comas. Even though she wanted to dance the zone of shacks she didn’t achieve it. I think that this year there aren’t as many people as other years, probably of economical crisis and also for the act that wanted to carry out the town councilor.

“St. Jordi” is a typical saint of Catalonia, because is the day of people who fall in love. Men give a rose at his couple, and the women give a book at her husband. The legend of St. Jorge says that a knight killed a dragon that the princess of a village had eaten. Of the blood of the dragon came out a rose red and the knight gave the rose to princess. This year at the school all of courses did activities during all the day, except the pupils of 2nd Batxillerat A. This is the live. Don’t ask me it is like this. At free hour, we went to the “La plaça dels homes” and we saw the tends that were on this place, and I bought a rose to my girlfriend. At afternoon she gave me a book that I liked very much.

This year during The Semana santa, the organitzation of: "El pa senyat" did representations of "retaule" of the "Church of Santa Maria" and on friday did the Viacrucis. This year I did the St. Josep character, and the baby who did “Jesus” was my little cousin, who is very funny and didn’t cry. And on Friday night we did the viacrucis, which this year is more spectacular and more realist.

Festival Castelló Dansa

Hi people. How are you?
Well next weekend we will do a festival of “I Festival Castelló Dansa” in this festival participate four groups, there are, “Sa Colla de Sant Rafel” (Eivissa), “Esbart Sant Jordi del Foment Martinenc”(Barcelona), “Txori Zuri Dantza Taldea”(Berriozar) and “Esbart Dansaire de Castelló d’Empúries”(Castelló d’Empúries, and the organizer).
The festival will be on afternoon Saturday, but the people who do the festival go here on Friday night and they pass all weekend here, visiting different place, for example, “Aiguamolls the l’Empordà” that I will do the guide of a group of persons. At Saturday night, the people of “Diables del Foc” do a “correfoc”, after in the “envalat” there are three groups of music, for the young people (Hot penguins, Strombers, and DJ llamp) I thing that will be a very good concert. On Sunday they visit more different things, and lunch in the “Aiguamolls de l’Empordà”

CANCER

Hi people!
Today I will explain to you about Cancer, now it’s a popular disease because every day more persons have cancer. The definition of dictionary sais: “is a class of diseases in which a group of cells display uncontrolled growth, invasion, and sometimes metastasis. These three malignant properties of cancers differentiate them from benign tumours, which are self-limited, do not invade or metastasize. Most cancers form a tumour but some, like leukaemia, do not. The branch of medicine concerned with the study, diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of cancer is oncology.”
I think that is a bad disease for the person who have, my mum had it, and I spent it badly. It’s not an individual disease because all of people around the person who have suffer. There are a lot of types of cancer, sometimes there are benign or malignant tumours. We can find tumours in all the body, for example, in the head, lungs... Now my family are very good, and funny, and I won’t change this for another thing.

CARNIVAL

Hi people!

How are you? I’m fine.
Today I explain to you the last weekend, the weekend of Carnival in Castelló d’Empúries. Carnival started the weekend of 20 in Roses, but we not here because we went to London and it is a very good experience. This weekend we dressed about tennis player, and we were a lot of people (80 persons approximately). At Friday night we went to the type of tune played in Empuriabrava, after we went to the pub Saloon (its Alma’s father work), and I arrived at home at 2:30 at night. On Saturday, we went to the type of tune played in Castelló d’Empúries, and it was fantastic. After in the “carpa”, Hotel cochambre, played at 4:00 am, that our I went at home to sleep, because on Monday I had a very important exam.
But carnival, will finish next Saturday, in Fortià, the last day of Carnival, and I think that If I go, will be a very good Carnival.

London!

Hi people!
How are you?
I’m fine but I’m very tired because I walked all the day.
Today is Wednesday, is the first day that we arrive at our travel to London.
Now I explain all of things that I visited these days.
On the first day (21st of February) we take the bus at 4:00 am and we went to the Girona airport. At 6:20 am we flight to London, then we went to the hotel and at 10:00 am we started the tour. Firstly we visited the BRITISH MUSEUM, after we went to the NATIONAL GALLERY, and went to the Trafalgar square, that is a big place. After we had free time for lunch and for visited other things. For lunch we ate a Jacket potato that is a very good food.
On the second day (22nd of February) we went to the Big Ben and the Houses of parliament, after we saw the London Eye, visited the Westminster Abbey, then we went tot the Speakers corners in Hyde Park, it is very funny because people replied all of things.
After we went to dinner, and went to the Harrods, that is good shop but their politic is very strict.
On the third day (23rd of February) we went to the globe theatre that is very nice theatre in my opinion. After we went to the changing of guard, and I thing that now is most touristy, because they played a Martin songs. Then we went to the tower of Bridge and the tower of London. At afternoon we cross the Tower Bridge, that is a most important bridge in London, because they elevating into two parts. After some people went to the Oxford Street, and we see a big Apple shop, that’s incredible. At night we went to see “WE WILL ROCK YOU”, that is a nice musical.
Finally on the four day (24th of February) we went to the Portobello Market, but this day doesn’t do the market, (only do in Saturdays). Then we went to lunch in a restaurant, that the waitress was a Spanish person. After we take the bus and went to the airport. At 6 pm we take the plane and return to Castelló d’Empúries.

What do you think about the people who live in Catalonia and practice Christmas dad, instead of Tio?
I think that these person, haven’t a tradition, because the person who lives in Catalonia all of her life they practice Tio, that is so better and more original than Christmas dad.
Practice Tio, consist in hit a piece of wood and after this wood shitting presents.

What do you think about London Travel?
I think that it’s a good travel because it’s a good new experience for me. We will go to London the weekend of twenty first. Maybe we will visit a lot of museums for example, British Museum, Big Ben and others.
Most of people explain me things about London. People saw that it is an expensive city but is a clean city and it is a beautiful city.

Trip to Figueras.

Yesterday we went to Figueres to a chemical conference. In this conference people explained a little bit of the experiments. After, they did very interesting five experiments. One of this experiments, won putting wine into a glass and this wine become to water then they putted some wine into a glass and it become milk, then they putted it into another glass and become orange juice. I think that is a little magical experiment. xD
Another experiment is a dissolution change his colour each minute.

Hi people. How are you?
Well, today I will talk to you about music. It is one of my hobbies. I play double bass, electric bass and a little bit of violin. I started to play double bas on 2004, electric bass one year ago and I started to play violin on 2000. Violin and double bass are too old instruments and they are part of the rope family.
Electric Bass is a new instrument, and it’s a similar of double bass but if you can play you have to connect it to amplifier.

Hi people!
How are you? I’m find.
This weekend we went to Eivissa with Esbart and we did a international festival with others Esbarts.
We arrived to airplane of Eivissa, at night, and some people of The “Sa Colla de Sant Rafel” went to bus with the airplane to received us. After we went to the hotel and have a dinner and met some people of “Sa Colla de Sant Rafel”, then they said: “Went to a party? “ and young people said: “Yes” and we went to a pub.
On Saturday we visited the island, for lunch we went to a park and ate sandwiches, xD. On the afternoon we went to visit a hippie market, it so funny. At night we went to some pubs and was dancing.
On Sunday, the youngest people slept because they went to parties all the night. And some parents were to an excursion and others went to prepared clothes. On the afternoon we danced with other Esbarts and later dinner all of Esbarts. And finally we went to a party.
On Monday, we got up at 5:00 am because we went to Barcelona at 8:00 am.
Well this is the travel of Eivissa, and it is a beautiful travel and if I can, I repeat.

How are you?
I return to publish in this blog, and I start about a little presentation of me. My name is Isaac Massot Gil, I’m 16 years old and I live in Castellò d’Empúries. Some of my hobbies are play double bass, and electric bass, and the world of computer and similar.
Well today, 19 of September, we return to the routine of every year, we start the classes on 15 and the teachers put a lot of work and some exams. And you ask; now? Yes now, for example the English and Spanish teachers. But it is a typical because we do 2nd of Batxillerat. And the “Treball de Recerca” that it is obligatory if you can pass Batxillerat and after Selectivitat. I think that is a lot of work but we do it.

Today, I will talk to you about my summer.
This summer, I will go 15 days in Sitges to do a workshop about cinema.
Then I will return to Castelló to work with my parents to sell fruit and vegetables in the markets of differents towns. I will work to 5 am to 3 pm, an on the some afternoons I will do a Reserch project, and other afternoons go out with my friends.

On Fridays night and Saturdays I will go out with my friends at differents towns where there are parties.
For example on 6 of July there is a Doctor Loft in Castelló d'Empúries, lot of diferents famous groups come here,

(Escola Superior de cinema i audiovisuals de Catalunya)
This school is the best of Catalonia about cinema, and it is very expensive.
This summer, ESCAC will do a summer camp about initiation of audiovisual world, and I will do this summer camp, because I will be a camera in the future.

This summer camp is done about 30th of June to 11th of July and takes place in Sitges.

Well today I will talk to you about the drought. Nowadays Catalonia suffers a drought and people save water, for when its necessary.
But the last days, the weather is crazy; sometimes it is sunny and sometimes it rains.
For example: this Monday, at night there was a hailstorm, and I didn’t hear anything and I slept all night.
What do you think about the weather of this moment?
I think that rain is good, but of a moderation and distributed of same parts around the world, but it is impossible.

Play-back 2008

Hi people. How are you?
Well today I will talk to you about the play-back of this year.
This year the playback was done by the people of 4th of ESO as very year, and this year the play-back was done the days twenty-three and on twenty-four.
They did a lot of songs and very good songs for example; “Pimpinela”, I love rock and roll, Cabaret …and I worked as light technician.
The play-back was started at ten o’clock on Friday and the room was full, but on Saturday the room was empty.
Last year for the lights I had an old light table, and all installations are old. This year the town-hall puts a new table and new dimmers.

Navarra.

Last weekend we went to Navarra, to Berriozar, a “Esbart” meeting, called “Berriofolk”. We left Castelló on the day nine at four o’clock by bus, at eight o’clock we stopped at the service area, at nine we get on the bus and at twelve o’clock pm, we arrived at Berriozar. At one o’clock we take an other bus and it brought us to Pamplona. At three o’clock pm we get on the same bus and returned to Berriozar, that went to sleep.
On ten of May we got up at half past seven had a shower, after we went to have a breakfast. At ten o’clock we got dressed of the clothes to danced, we got on at the bus and it brought us to a pavilion, and we danced, and eat “talos”*. After we went to had “poteos”*, after “poteos” we went to lunch. After lunch we went to sleep half an hour. At seven o’clock we danced again to a big room. After we had a dinner, and a boy drink a lot of wine and it had to go to the hospital.
After we went to a concert, and at five o’clock we get on the bus and returned to Castelló d’Empúries. We arrived here at one o’clock am.

Trip to UdG for the renewable energy.

Hi people. How are you?
Yestarday we went to the Udg.
The University of Girona did renewable energy workshops and we did these workshops.
At eight o’clock we went to Figueres and get on at train and we arrived at Girona at a quarter to nine. After we talked a bus and went to the university , we did the workshops, and then we went walking from university to the train station. While we went to the train station a car horned us, and it was our teacher that last year, Nerea! xD
Then we arrived at the train station get on at the train and returned to Castelló.

This year the “barraques” of Figueres, lasted from 25 of April until 3 of May.
I went to “barraques” the days: 25, 1, and 3 and I liked a lot because the groups who played these days ar good in my opinion.
The twenty five of April, the groups that played are; Dept and Gossos, and I liked the last one.
On the one of may the groups who played are Filippo Landini and Pastora and the first, I don’t Know and I like this music.
On the three of May the groups who played are Dekrèpits and Obrint Pas, and the first one presented her new CD.

Trip to “Jornada de portes obertes a Girona”

Last Friday we went to the UdG to the free visits. We did the trip on 25 April.
In this trip we went to the electronically conference with Eric Mesas and it was interesting, but it was too long.
After, at twelve o’clock when the conference was finished we went to the Bar and played with other people, some boys played with the Cub of Rubik.
At two o’clock we get on the bus, but we had to wait for three girls that late.
At three o’clock we arrived in Castelló d’Empúries.

Sant Jordí

This year for “Sant Jordi” the high-school prepaired different workshops, for example: “Iniciació a la Botifarra”, “Plat Station”, Football, Basketball, ping pong…
I played with the Play Station to the Guitar hero and I had a good time.
At free hour, we went to the “La plaça dels homes” and we saw the tends that were on this place.
This year 3er of ESO put the tend to the other people bought books and roses.
My mum bought a book for me and I liked it.

Trip to: “Saló de l’ensenyament”

Last Friday, on date 4 we went to Barcelona to the “Saló de l’Ensenyament”.
This places is formed by parades of different Universities (UdG, UPC, UB, UAB …), there also was a parades of FP and schools for superior graduate (ESCAC)
We left at eight o’clock and returned at four o’clock to Castelló.
This was a good trip because it helped me for decide to do one thing or other thing.
I will recommend you, you should go.

Trip to “Sant Adrià del Besòs”

Last Thursday, on date 27-3-08, the students of technologic Batxillerat, both first and second, went to the electric central of Sant Adrià del Besòs.
We left at eight o’clock, by bus ad at ten o’clock we arrived at the Sant Adrià, we went for a walk next to the beach. At eleven o’clock we went to the electric central, and a guide did an explication, after, we did a dossier and when we did the explanation we put a casket on the head to protect it.
At one o’clock we get on the bus and return to Castelló d’Empúries,
When we travelled y bus some people was playing poker.
I liked this trip, its different of the others.

Hi guys.
On Friday 1 we go to Roses carnival: this carnival is the most important of Alt Empordà. This carnival was an horror for my group, because bufles had broken and it rained a lot.
On Saturday 2 we went to Sant Pere Pescador. It was a good carnival but a boy get drunk a lot.
On Sunday we went to Roses, in this carnival we only were 6 persons of the group.

On the Friday 8 it was Castelló's Carnival. It was very good, the groups who`played in awning were very funny.
On Friday we did the type of tune played by street disguise on Empuriabrava.
And it is very long.
On saturday we did the type of tune played by street disguise on Empuriabrava.
After we went to have lunch in "Ca l'avi Joan" and we ate a chicken.

On 7th of February we went to Aiguamolls de l'Empordà. Here we did a literal excursion of Aiguamolls. Then we went to the beach, and some persons played rugby on the san. After we played three persons went to the water and the teacher grumble them.

Carnival

Tomorrow is the Carnival of Roses. The carnvial of Roses is the most important of the Alt Empordà.

ANother place where they celebreted Carnival is in Sant Pere Pescador, in this city people have fun.

Last week is the Carnival of Castelló, all the younger and old people go to the street and they disguisse.

This year I do a float of the trailes of my father. We spent two months to fabricated our float.

On 22nd of January I went to Barcelona and we went to the university UAB. We went to the free visiting day and we went to conferences about informatic and tecnical enginery.

This day was good but I didn't like the conferences because they tried to persuade us about the university. They said, that autonoma is the best, bla, bla, bla, xd.

After the conferences finished we went to the grass and we had a sandwich for lunch.
After we went by bus to return to Castelló.
